Official Rules of Disc Golf

The Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA) is the official global governing body for disc golf. As such, they have published the official guidelines for recreational players, tournaments, ratings, tour standards, and much, much more! We've included some useful links below from the PDGA.

Types of Plastic

While different classes of discs are used for different things on the course, the same disc can be produced in multiple different kinds of plastic, which can lend entirely different characteristics to the disc. For example, the same distance driver can be manufactured in four different types of plastic, each with different weights and stability, therefore changing the flight characteristics of that disc. It's important to try different things out to see which works best for you. In order to help with this, we've compiled a list of different types of plastics for some of the major disc golf brands.
